What is patient portal?

The Patient Portal is an online health care tool that gives you fast, easy and convenient access to ob-gyn services and providers at Oakdale Obstetrics & Gynecology. You can request appointments, pay bills online, and Ask a Nurse, day or night, from the privacy of your home.

 

How can it help me?

The Patient Portal benefits patients in many ways. It connects you to providers and staff at Oakdale Obstetrics & Gynecology during and after business hours and offers an easy and convenient options such as online bill pay and appointments requests that can be made day or night, from the privacy of your work or home. Coming soon: view standard lab and test results, your medical history, visit summary and more.

 

What if I have problems creating an account or logging into my account?

If you have problems creating or logging into your account, email portal@oakdaleobgyn.com and our staff will get back to you right away.

How do I pay a bill online?

There are two ways to pay your bill online: You may pay through the Patient Portal and follow the step-by-step instructions. Or, you may access Pay My Bill Online at our home page and follow the instructions.

 

Is payment online secure?

We work with PayPal, a secure online vendor, to assist our patients in paying their bills securely online. A reputable service with many years experience, their service is guaranteed.

 

How long can I expect before clinic staff to confirm my appointment request?

You can expect a response within 24 business hours.

 

How long can I expect before clinic staff to respond to my question?

You can expect a response within 24 business hours.

 

How can I send a question to my provider?

Simply log on to the Patient Portal Home Page and click where it reads "Ask a Nurse". Follow the instructions to send a question to your provider. We will respond within 24 business hours.

 

Can I cancel my appointment online?

Unfortunately our Patient Portal doesn’t allow this. Please call 763-587-7000 to cancel your appointment.

 

Are Forms I need to complete before my appointment part of the Patient Portal?

In the future, Forms will be available on the Patient Portal. We will notify patients when this option is available.

 

Can I request my medical records to be sent to me by email?

We soon will be able to send your medical records securely via the Patient Portal. You will need to be able to view a PDF, which is available free from Adobe, a software platform you can download from the Internet.

 

Can I send you my medical records as an attachment via the Patient Portal?

At this time, we cannot not accept medical records via the Patient Portal for security reasons.

 

Will I be able to review lab and test results?

In the future, you will be able to review standard lab and test results. We will notify patients when this option is available.

 

I have an Apple product (ipad, iphone, macbook, etc.) and am having difficulty accessing the patient portal. Is this just my computer?

Patients with Apple technology may experience difficulty accessing the Patient Portal using Safari or Chome on Google. The manufacturer recommends patients access the Patient Portal via Firefox.
