Described by her patients as exceptionally caring, competent, and dedicated, Dr. Lisa Ohman Erhard joins Oakdale OBGYN after recently serving as a clinical professor in OBGYN at Hennipen County Medical Center. In addition to her years spent in academics, Dr. Erhard has practiced for over 16 years in the Twin Cities area. She is committed to taking care of women in all phases of life, from childbirth to menopause and specializes in helping women find solutions to their obstetrical and gynecologic problems. "It is all about completely restoring woman's health-physically, emotionally, and mentally, so she can be productive at home with her family and at work." Dr. Erhard's philosophy of patient centered care is derived from her own experience as a mother of four children, and marriage to another physician. "I love being a mom, and I love being an OBGYN physician-I think they go hand in hand."
Dr. Erhard completed medical school at Loma Linda University in Souther California. She started her OBGYN residency at St Paul Ramsey Medical Center, and completed her training at Loma Linda University. She was born in Fargo, ND and grew up on Pelican Lake, Minnesota. She moved back to Minnesota after completing her residency training in California. Dr. Erhard and her family enjoy an active outdoor life of water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, sailing, and fishing in the summer, and downhill skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.
