“I believe in the empowerment of women in making informed decisions about their health care through patient education and open communication.”

Serving more than 10 years in labor and delivery inspired women’s health nurse practitioner Carmen Stansberry to return to school for advanced training in caring for women of all ages. A women’s health advocate who enjoys educating her patients about health and wellness, Ms. Stansberry’s special interests include women’s health, adolescents, maternal-child health and contraception.

Ms. Stansberry earned her Bachelors of Nursing degree in 2002 at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., and completed her Masters of Science in nursing and women’s health nurse practitioner certificate at Wayne State University, in Detroit, Mich., in 2010.

She is new to Minnesota and enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. Photography is a passion.
