From the young age of fourteen Chris Olson has been intrigued with understanding and explaining how the human body works. Her earliest role model in women's health care was the Nurse Practitioner who did her first pelvic exam. From that moment on, Chris knew the career she wanted to pursue. Her mission is to educate women on how their bodies work so that they can keep themselves healthy and make reproductive choices that fit their life. Chris earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota in 1994. She completed her master's education and certification in the Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Minnesota in 1999. Clinically, she has special interest in family planning, obstetrics and health promotion and disease prevention.
