Jon S. Nielsen, M.D.

Dr. Nielsen, our senior partner, has dedicated his professional career to the well-being of women. A University of Minnesota Medical School graduate, he also completed his residency at the U of M. He is recognized as one of the best in his field, having been noted regularly on Mpls. St. Paul magazine's top doctor list as well as in WCCO-TV's top ten Twin Cities Ob/Gyn list. He is active in leadership as a member of North Memorial Hospital's Board of Trustees. He is certified as a menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society.

Special areas of interest: menopausal management (midlife women's health); minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery for routine and complex medical conditions; advanced laparoscopic surgery; robotic laparscopic surgery; urogynecology; endoscopic surgery and management of urinary incontinence.
