Mary K. Martinie, M.D.

Dr Martinie graduated from and completed her residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She uses her background in teaching biology at the university level to help her patients understand and participate in their health care.  Dr. Martinie knows that medicine is an ongoing collaborative process between physician and patient.

Practicing medicine allows Dr. Martinie to combine her strong math and science skills with her love of teaching and caring for others. She is particularly drawn to care for women – obstetrically and otherwise. She places a priority on listening to patients. This helps her consistently see that all patients leave their encounter with things clearly explained and understood. .

Areas of interest:obstetrics, annual exams, office based procedures and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
