Fertility Assessment

Fertility assessments can be a key component of the family planning process. These assessments can check for a variety of indicators of fertility or infertility, like thyroid function, ovarian reserve, and progesterone levels. If you have any concerns about your fertility, your women’s healthcare provider is here to help.

Infertility

We offer infertility evaluation and treatment options to help you start your family.

High-Risk Pregnancy

If you’re 35 or older or have existing health conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, or obesity, then your pregnancy may be considered high risk. High-risk pregnancies require careful monitoring by a maternal-fetal medicine specialist to ensure that mom and baby remain healthy from conception to birth. We can connect you with a maternal-fetal medicine specialist here within our practice.

Midwifery

Midwifery consists of Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) and Certified Midwives (CMs) who have completed an accredited midwifery program. They can provide gynecologic and obstetric care services. We offer midwifery services as part of our commitment to respect cultural values and various personal preferences.

Breastfeeding Support

It’s relatively common for new moms, or even experienced moms, to require breastfeeding support following pregnancy. Your provider can help you connect with a lactation counselor or consultant who specializes in supporting women with breastfeeding.

Gestational Diabetes

If you develop GDM, our team is committed to helping you get back to healthy. With you, we’ll queue up next steps to help you manage this condition. This may include simple changes to your lifestyle and a referral to our registered dietitians to develop a balanced approach to eating and living well before, during and after the birth of your child.

Ultrasounds

A sonogram, or ultrasound, is a way of creating images of internal organs such as the breast, ovary, uterus, and fetus by using safe, high-frequency sound waves.  It is one of the diagnostic tools used by our providers. Obstetric ultrasounds are useful in helping us to detect potential problems, and to monitor your baby’s health throughout your pregnancy. Our ultrasound suites feature the latest technology, and we use our state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging for many reasons during your pregnancy. Our ultrasound department is an American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) accredited facility. This means our practice has met accepted national standards and has shown consistent excellence in patient care when providing diagnostic ultrasounds. To become accredited, our staff has undergone rigorous and detailed testing and fulfilled the necessary requirements to become certified. State and Federal laws do not require accreditation; however, our practice is giving you piece of mind that we are qualified to perform your ultrasound examination.
